This site, the Medicare Coverage Database Archive (MCD Archive) contains only Local Coverage documents (i.e., LMRPs, LCDs, and Articles) that have an Ending Date or Revision Ending Date older than two years. To see Local Coverage documents, that have been retired for less than two years or that are currently in effect, please visit the Medicare Coverage Database (MCD) site.

The site offers two ways to locate and view data:

Search - Allows users to search Local Coverage Databases, using a variety of criteria.

Indexes - Provides users with pre-defined lists of Local Coverage documents.

MCD Archive vs. Medicare.gov - This site, the Medicare Coverage Database Archive (MCD Archive) is intended for use by Medicare Contractors, Providers, and other healthcare industry professionals. People with Medicare, family members, and caregivers should visit Medicare.gov, the Official U.S.Government Site for People with Medicare, for the latest information on Medicare enrollment, benefits, and other helpful tools.
